  • The charm of President Park lies in its larger smallholding properties containing diverse hidden gems like the Lory Park Zoo, a University District, Farmers markets, stables, various boutique hotels, spas, conference, wedding and party venues and even a entrepreneur hub mingling with various home and small business, subsistance farmers, churches, residences and even a forest!
  • We are lucky to live in beautiful suburb with an ecosystem thriving with wildlife and vegetation; and a diverse community.

The President Park Residents' Association

The PPRA is a not for profit association, representing the residents of President Park in matters concerning our suburb. The Residents association aims to cater for the needs of ALL residents of President Park. The PPRA committee is made up of President Park residents, all volunteers, who have committed to participate actively to improve things for the community as a whole.

What We Do ?

Our vision is for a safe, happy and healthy place to call home. An abundant and thriving President Park where our diverse community can collaborate and prosper; our properties and infrastructure are consistently improved and maintained; and our wildlife and vegetation are appreciated and sustained in a safe, caring and friendly community neighborhood.

There are always going to be challenges in a growing and diverse community, especially in an older suburb in the context of a complex and growing city. In order to keep President Park sustainably safe, prosperous, green and a happy place to call home, residents need to be active and engaged citizens who work together with all stakeholders as a community to tackle our common issues, protect and improve our neighborhood.

Our residents’ association believes by working collectively to represent the interests of the suburb we can do a great deal to present a united voice on issues of concern; liaise with local business, relevant city and law enforcement agencies; protect the suburb from predatory development and illegal land uses; enhance environmental wellbeing; and build a greater sense of community.

We aim to provide information to residents on events and developments in the area.  We create and maintain relationships with various stakeholders to work together to protect, preserve and improve our communities. We work hand in hand with councillors, law enforcement, municipal decision-makers, business and residents and use these relationships to influence and direct the decisions made about the suburb. We organize and coordinate community efforts to deal with pressing issues threatening our neighborhood's wellbeing.
